Shipping policy

At Barboratory, we’re committed to delivering your barber tools, equipment, and supplies quickly, securely, and with care.

Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday).
  • During holidays, preorders, or new product launches, processing may extend up to 5 business days.
  • You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order is dispatched.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Standard Shipping: Delivered within 2–5 business days via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL.
  • Same-Day Delivery: Available for in-state orders within 20 miles if placed before 2:00 PM local time. Confirmation will be sent once your order is out for delivery.
  • Expedited Shipping: Processed within 24–48 hours. If delayed, expedited shipping fees may be refunded upon request.
  • Large/Freight Items: Barber chairs, mats, and station equipment ship separately via freight. You’ll receive dedicated freight tracking information.

Preorders

  • Preorder items are purchased in advance of restock or release.
  • Orders containing both in-stock and preorder items will ship together when all items are available.
  • For faster delivery of in-stock items, place a separate order or request split fulfillment by emailing support@barboratory.com.
  • Preorders can be canceled for store credit before they are packed. Once tracking shows “label created,” cancellations are no longer possible.

Pick-Up Orders

If you select “Pick Up” at checkout, you’ll receive an email or text notification once your order is ready for pickup.

Drop Shipping

Some items may ship directly from our brand partners, resulting in multiple packages and tracking numbers.

This allows Barboratory to offer a wider product selection and faster fulfillment times.

Package Protection

  • All orders are automatically insured up to $200 at no additional cost.
  • Optional Route Package Protection is available at checkout for extra coverage. File claims directly at RouteClaims.
  • Once a package is handed to the carrier, Barboratory is not responsible for loss, theft, or misdelivery.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order total and delivery location.
  • We occasionally offer free shipping promotions — subscribe to our email list to stay updated.
  • We currently do not ship to P.O. Boxes or international addresses.

Warranty

  • Barboratory-branded items: Covered under a 1-year warranty.
  • Manufacturer tools: Covered under the manufacturer’s warranty (1–3 years).
  • To request warranty assistance or proof of purchase, email support@barboratory.com.
